2011-12 Online Professional Development Registration
KYAE professional development (PD) registration for online PD begins July 11 and closes August 19. After August 19, registration will be limited to courses for new hires.
Please use the KYAE Course Catalog to register for the following online PD:
· All new instructors and ESL instructors hired after April 1, 2011.
· All ESL instructors working 200 hours a year or more.
· All adult education instructors working 200-999 hours a year who are not taking the face-to-face PD on the KYAE Common Core Standards but instead will participate in the KYAE Common Core Standards Online Course. These individuals need to register for one of the five online standards courses offered during 2011-12.
· All staff seeking to participate in an elective KYAE Professional Growth Opportunity. Each opportunity will be offered one time during the year.

Registration is for participants in online courses only. Program directors have already registered their staff to participate in the face-to-face KYAE Common Core Standards, English/Language Arts (Fall 2011) and/or the KYAE Common Core Standards, Mathematics (Spring 2012).
Ø Please review the KYAE 2011-12 Policy and Procedure Manual, Professional Development section, p. 40, and the 2011-12 KYAE Professional Development and Professional Growth eHandbook to ensure registering for the correct online course.
