Regional Program Support Team

In response to frequent comments and requests by adult educators, I’m announcing the formation of a new regional program support team in Kentucky Adult Education. David Walters will become a Senior Associate and will lead this new team to provide information and support to programs in six regions. Joining David on the team as program support specialists are D.J. Begley, Billy Crabtree, Martha Fightmaster, Don Howerton, Linda Pankratz and Donna Potter.

You have worked with these KYAE staff members in their current capacities, but their roles will be greatly expanded and will include an intensive training process to equip them to provide broader support services to the field. By the first of the year, you will receive more information about support services to be provided and regional designations. Until that time, please continue to work with KYAE staff as you currently do.

By having KYAE program support specialists assigned to regions, we look forward to creating a new sense of partnership focusing on student achievement, program success, and statewide goal attainment with accountability at all levels.
