Program Director Institute 2, April/May 2011
Attention Program Directors!
Please check your calendars – the 2010-11 KYAE Program Director Institute 2 begins soon. It will be a two-day institute at three different locations (Somerset, Northern Kentucky and Owensboro). You may determine the site that is closest to you and fits your calendar. The program will be led by KYAE staff and includes information on Common Core Standards, the Red Flag Chart, Assessment, Instructional Technology and KYAE Updates.
AGENDA
Day 1—10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Day 2—9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participation is required as follows:
· All counties are required to be represented by a program director.
· Fiscal agents with multiple counties may determine whether to send one program director to represent all counties or multiple program directors not to exceed one per county.
· Counties with multiple program directors may send only one program director.
You may register through the PD Course Catalog. Registration must be completed by April 21.

April 28-29—Somerset |

Institute Location: Rural Development Center, 2292 South Highway 27
Institute registration:
Register through the PD Course Catalog. Select KYAE 105 Program Director Institute 2—Somerset.
Hotel reservations:
· KYAE will pay for attendees’ hotel rooms (room and tax only) at the Hampton Inn, 4141 South Highway 27, Somerset. Other charges are the participant’s responsibility. In order to make a hotel reservation, attendees are responsible for contacting Benita Wilhoite at benita.wilhoite@ky.gov or at (502) 573-5114, ext. 277.
· If cancellation is necessary, please contact Benita Wilhoite as soon as possible. If you do not cancel the room and are a no-show, you will be responsible for the expense of the room. If you are unable to contact Benita Wilhoite, contact the hotel at (606) 676-8855 and make the cancellation.
· Hotel Registration deadline April 21.
