The Kentucky Office of Adult Education’s My Story Reimagined Summit will bring together Workplace Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) partners and others to collaborate, network, and share best practices for helping Kentuckians improve their quality of life through education, training, and employment so that they can care for themselves and their families and help their communities and state’s economies expand and thrive.

Jeffrey Abramowitz, J.D. is the Chief Executive Officer of the Petey Greene Program and past Executive Director of Justice Partnerships and Executive Director Reentry Services for JEVS Human Services and the founder and Program Director of Looking Forward Philadelphia Reentry Program. Jeff previously served on the Board of the Coalition on Adult Basic Education, COABE, where he served as Secretary, and currently Co-chairs the State Advocates for Adult Education Fellowship Program and is Chair of the Public Policy Committee. Jeff was appointed to the Pennsylvania Reentry Council and serves as Chairman of the Employment Committee and past co-chair of the Reentry Committee for the PA Workforce Development Board and served as the past Chair of the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition. Jeff is also a member of the Fair Chance Business Consortium.
Jeff is a subject matter expert for the US Department of Education, is the Moderator for US Department of Education LINCS Community of Practice on Correctional & Reentry Education and works on the IET in Corrections project for OCTAE. Jeff sits on several organizational boards and centers his work in the intersection of adult education, workforce development, and justice.
Jeff was nominated by his peers and recognized by the Advocacy Association as the Top 20 Advocates in 2023.
Jeff is the producer and host of the award-winning weekly radio/television show “The Looking Forward” on Philly Cam Radio WPPM 106.5FM and PhillyCam TV (Live Streaming; Xfinity 66/966; Fios TV 29/30; Roku; Apple TV) and WWDB Radio, and Co-Host/Producer of the Behind Every Employer Podcast.
Jeff is a recognized keynote speaker and presenter across the country.
