Putting Kentuckians First
Putting Kentuckians First is a state task force that ensures those emerging from drug treatment or incarceration receive individualized assistance from support organizations in the commonwealth. Judicial partners receive progress reports and work with other support groups to motivate participants to reach their goals for a better future.
Targeted Orientation Classes
Targeted Orientation Classes occur once monthly at the local adult education center where participants have access to Department for Workforce Development offices in one location. During these sessions, participants are connected with the most appropriate partner to meet their employment, training and/or educational needs. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to complete next steps.

Behavioral Health Conditional Dismissal Program (BHCDP- SB90)
The Behavioral Health Conditional Dismissal Program, also known as Senate Bill 90, is a program that provides eligible Kentuckians with a qualifying offense who have a behavioral health disorder. It offers treatment and recovery support services instead of incarceration, resulting in dismissal of the charges upon successful completion. To be eligible, individuals must complete a clinical assessment and be referred for care or the person must meet the requirements of Section 3 of the Act.
Participating counties include: Christian, Clark, Daviess, Greenup, Henry, Hopkins, Kenton, Letcher, Madison, McCracken, Oldham and Pulaski. For more information, contact Becky Wilson (becky.wilson@ky.gov) or Monique Shaw (monique.shaw@ky.gov).
