Henderson County AEFLA, Title II Grant Request For Applications FY 2026-2028
The Office of Adult Education (OAE) is accepting AEFLA, Title II Grant Applications to develop, implement, and improve adult education and literacy activities in the Henderson County service area. Eligible applicants may establish and/or operate a comprehensive service model program for adult education and literacy services and may include programs that prov ide suc h activities concurrently. Funding to support this initiative is made available through the Workforce Innovatio n Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II, Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA).
The tentative timeline below addresses all the pertinent requirements, actions and associated due dates. Please note that the due dates are no later than dates and actions may be completed prior to the annotated date. Correspondence related to the RFA needs to be submitted in writing to AEFLAGrants2025@ky.gov.

Application Submission Instructions
Applications must include all parts applicable from the requirements listed below. Applications should include the demonstrative effectiveness table relevant to the application type, a narrative addressing the 13 Considerations, budget templates and narrative, and all required signature pages. Please note, the 13 Considerations will satisfy the narrative requirements for AEFLA (231), Corrections (225), and IELCE (243) grants. Additionally, IELCE section 243 requirements and state supplemental questions must be completed for the 243 IELCE grant funding.
All necessary application documents should be submitted in their completed status, in one email, to
AEFLAGrants2025@ky.gov by February 21, 2025.
